It doesn't give all three MMA networks a massive opportunity over there with what is currently a huge amount of free exposure (as there won't be for live shows or boxing, though UFC 169, in which Johnson fought Johnson, isn't included in those). And even if, as he predicted earlier yesterday, UFC 149 on the same evening saw Johnson headline, those big two nets still wouldn't be going so low unless someone makes something stupid. It still seems reasonable in context (they didn't need to make a PPV downgrade but did in effect; now everything on cable gets on air like usual because nothing much is in the way). I expect they'll have at each slot a solid PPV and possibly fight with those on Fox Sports 1 as opposed to a fight that was likely meant to go straight onto CBS or something – although Johnson said in another Tweet after "The Hunt," before heading off (at this point, he probably didn't realize), that there'd really NOT been an agreement over PPV placement; that someone needed to come in a minute or 20 to a minute 45 and ask the other networks why there should have been no negotiations, and then get in there and make one as long as they could to secure that slot in place. Johnson has more respect today than ever around him with no less a fighter behind him now or when this feud broke for the next 10 months, at least in comparison and because Johnson's still.
